Good Evening, Paul, Darin and Vicki Kelly (NCC safer Neighbourhoods officer) report that it was lovely to see some of you attend Amble Library last week for our “Pop up Police station” where they discussed any issues you had and provided crime prevention and safeguarding advice. Thank you to those of you who attended. We will be making these engagement events Bi-monthly for those who could not make this one, the next event is scheduled for March 24th between 1330-1800 ( I will send out a reminder nearer the time 😊)
We also completed an “Amble Walkabout” with Mayor Weir, Cllr Bewley, NCC Housing and Safer Estates officers. We walked around and carried out a visual Environmental audit of an estate and discussed what options could be carried out by partner agencies to improve quality of living for residents.
Tomorrow the team are attending Longhoughton Community Centre between 12-2 for an engagement event and we also have a joint event with NCC planned at the Lindisfarne Community Hub, Alnwick on Tuesday 11th February between 9-12. (Again I will send out a reminder nearer the time 😊)
We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events and I would like to reinforce that if you are affected by Antisocial Behaviour, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Reports can be made via the following link at Report | Northumbria Police and provide anonymous information via Crimestoppers at Giving information anonymously | Crimestoppers . We will do all that we can to deal with those responsible. Thank you, Sergeant Tracey Brown | ||||
