Two males have been arrested and remain in custody for theft from and interference with vehicles in Morpeth.

I would like to thank the public for providing CCTV and doorbell footage that has supported our ongoing investigation. 

The neighborhood and response teams will continue to focus on overnight crime and target those responsible. I urge anyone with footage to send it to the Morpeth team via morpeth.npt@northumbria.police.uk

We have received and responded to numerous calls regarding motorbike disorder in Pegswood. A drone has been deployed in the area and we have identified several riders. Enforcement action has been taken and we will continue to use a range of tactics to prevent this anti social behavior and deal with those causing harm in the community.
