Northumbria Police have received a report of unknown males calling door to door in the late evening (8pm - 9pm) in the Coquetdale area, who are canvassing support for a charity.

The report has been linked to other reports on social media (not reported to Police) as likely being the same unknown males. 

While there has been no offences and the report remains as suspicious, I would like to reassure you that we take these reports seriously; and endeavour to identify those involved.

If you experience, witness or are suspicious of cold callers - you should report this to Police as soon as possible - do not delay or assume that someone else will report it.
