Happy New year from your Whitley Bay Neighbourhood Police team. I hope you all had a safe and enjobale festive break.

Im delighted to be able to update you all that Anti-Social Behaviour in the Whitley Bay area has decreased by 48% for the last 3 months - this is a reduction of 179 reports in compariosn to the figures for July 2024 - September 2024.

Please can I ask that residents and visitors to the area continue to report Anti-Social behaviour in order to ensure all persons are safe and procteced from the harm this can bring to the community and to also ensure the police team are aware of hotspots or issues that require a tailored joint approach.
