Police in Morpeth have executed a warrant in the High Stanners area of the town.

A police presence will be maintained whilst enquires are concluded. Businesses in the area, including Mulan, will be open for business as usual. 

I would like to thank the public for their assistance and patience this morning. 

Some roads were closed briefly in the area to ensure the safety of all concerned, these have all been reopened.
