I have a couple of things to update you with on this cold Autumnal evening

Alexandra Road play park - Unfortunately the play park remains closed until further notice. This was down to a mindless act of vandalism that occurred between 19th & 20th of August.  If anyone has any information about this incident please get in touch & quote crime reference 098814Y/24.

Motorbike asb- Although we pleased to report that calls relating to motorbike asb has reduced it still remains a concern for our community. As you may be aware we have a dedicated motorbike asb team (Op Capio) who are working extremely hard to identify those who have total  disrespect for other road users & pedestrians.  On Tues 17th September Ashington Neighbourhood Team recovered two stolen motorbikes from the Newbiggin area.  Enquiries into this investigation are ongoing.

We are also aware that there was a group of youths on electric motorbikes riding recklessly in the Ashington area yesterday.  We are currently making enquiries into identifying these riders.  Positive action will be taken against those responsible.
