Good morning,
I would like to introduce myself as the new Neighbourhood Sergeant covering Alnwick and surrounding area (Amble, Rothbury etc).
I have had a busy first week and wanted to share some of the positive results we had already.
Yesterday we executed a warrant just outside Amble, resulting in drugs being seized and a person being interviewed.
On 4th September we arrested a wanted person in the Amble area who had been outstanding for a number of weeks. They have been charged and remanded in custody.
I hope this offers reassurance that we are working hard to keep the community safe.
