Suspected Hare Coursing – Scremerston, Berwick

Report by Gamekeeper at 2130hrs on Mon 5th August of males with lurchers on farmland – three males and four dogs.  Males using a Forester/Freelander – dark blue or black.

Officers attended the area, however unable to locate the vehicle - which had left towards the A1 S/B

Suspicious Vehicle – Cragside area

Reports this morning (Tue 6th Aug) of a Blue Vauxhall Insignia attending a farm trying to sell road planings and hot tar.  Please always be careful of purchasing from door to door sales people as their work can be sub-standard and often charge high prices.

Theft of Horse Trailer –  Whittonstall

CCTV shows theft occurring at 1500hrs on Wed 24th July – appeared to head towards Ebchester area.
