As your new Police and Crime Commissioner I am committed to delivering safer streets and stronger communities. I was elected with a promise to be a Commissioner who listens and now I am inviting you to have your say in a major new police and crime survey.

Our region is overall a safe place to live and work, but it has its challenges. From anti-social behaviour to violence against women and girls, there remain areas in which we need to see progress when it comes to the fight against crime.

That’s why this consultation is so important – the results will set our policing priorities for the next four years. From the local issues impacting on you and your neighbourhood to the bigger issues that matter across the Northumbria force area, now is the time to have your say.
