Tynedale/Hexham Area

Incident Number NP-20240701-0948

Suspicious Vehicle – Wark

Report at 1850hrs on Mon 1st July, of a Black Navara Pickup (18 Plate), attending a farm and looking for scrap metal. Possibly has links to rural crime.

 

Incident Number: NP-20240630-0378

Theft of ATV – Near Whitley Chapel, Hexham

Between 2000 on SAT 29/06/24  and  0900 on SUN 30/06/24

ATV stolen from an outbuilding during the above time period. 

 

Incident Number: NP-20240625-1336

Attempted Theft of ATV – Thockrington, Nr Colwell, A68

Occurred at 2250hrs on Tues 25th June

Offenders have entered farm premises, remove lock from garage and push the quad out to the main gate and abandon at the gate – offenders disturbed by the burglar alarm.

 

North Northumberland 

Incident Number: NP-20240625-0974

Lurchers on Land – Felton

Report by Gamekeeper of a female walking lurchers on the farm – the lurchers have been witnessed hare coursing.

After enquiries, a Community Protection Notice Warning has been issued to the female.

 

South East 

Incident Number: NP-20240622-0254

Suspected Poaching – Low Horton, Blyth

Report on Tuesday 22nd June, of a vehicle abandoned in a field and suspected to have been poaching,  On Officers arrival the vehicle had been removed, however after an area search, the Officers located the vehicle, a silver Daihatsu, in Blyth.  The vehicle was uplifted under Section.165.
