Yesterday (Friday 28th June) afternoon and evening, officers from the East Shields, Cleadon & Whitburn and Hebburn & Jarrow Neighbourhood Teams, alongside colleagues from the Motorcycle Disorder Team took part in a day of action targeting those individuals that use motorcycles in an illegal and anti-social manner.  During the operation three motorcycles were seized (including those pictured) and a quantity of drugs were recovered.  Two riders will be dealt with for motoring and drug offences.

In addition officers also stopped a motorcar being driven erratically, the driver of which provided a positive roadside breath test and was subsequently arrested.

Officers from both Neighbourhood Teams and the Motorcycle Disorder Team will continue to target those who use motorcycles in an illegal and anti-social manner.
