Officers from the Gateshead Outer West Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted a number of proactive traffic policing operations throughout the last week in the area and have uplifted vehicles for no Insurance and two stolen vehicles recovered on false plates.  We will be continuing to run these operations.  We are also aware of a number of number plates being taken from the area and used on stolen vehicles often these thefts of the number plates are not reported therefore please report any such thefts.
