On the evening of Friday the 29th March 2024 a reported assault has taken place outside of Morpeth Bus Station.  

The lead up to this crime had started within the Bus Station before spilling out in to the nearby street and  has involved a number of youths

As such we are requesting that anyone who may have either witnessed the assault or the build up to it please contact Northumbria Police quoting reference NP-20240330-0803 

There is also potential that some of the above incident has been recorded on mobile phone and would ask that if this the case then please contact us again quoting the above reference so that arrangements can be made for the footage to be viewed.  

Further to the above any parents who believe that their children may have been in the area at the time of the report please speak with them, check their phones for footage and make contact with us should anything come to light
