We are excited to be hosting a Career event at Newcastle Civic Centre on Tuesday 5 March 2024.

The event is open to those considering a career in policing. We encourage those who are 16+ to attend, whether you are currently in sixth form, University or looking for a career change. The event will consist of two identical sessions – first session will run from 12pm-3pm and the second session will be from 4pm-7pm. 

During the session you will hear from a number of our departments who are involved in supporting those embarking in a career with Northumbria Police. This will be followed by an opportunity to speak to officers and staff to find out more about the ways to join as a police officer and discuss some staff roles. 

We will be there to support anyone who wants to register and or submit an application after the event. 

We are committed to ensuring that we represent our diverse communities and encourage those from underrepresented groups to attend the event, especially those who would not normally consider a career in policing.
