We recently had a week of action carried out by the Neighbourhood Team.

Some of the activities that we carried out included:

Speedwatch on Bentinck Road, a 20mph zone and over the course of an hour 62 cars were measured and 25 of them were found to be over the speed limit. These were all sent education / warning letters reminding them of the importance to maintain the speed limit.

If any recipients have an area in mind where the issue of speeding is a problem let us know so we put this on the list of locations to attend.

Drugs Warrant was executed.

Joint work with trading standards where shops were targeted for illegal vapes and cigarettes.
