Today Northumbria Police and South Tyneside Homes, alongside other agencies successfully evicted a problem tenant who was causing issues for the residents of Burnside, Jarrow. This follows on from a closure order which was granted by Newcastle Magistrates on 24/11/23 for another problem tenant on the same street. This was served on the address and resulted in the removal of the tenant for a minimum of three months whilst legal proceedings continue to seek possession. This should give the residents of Burnside the well deserved respite from these two tenants anti-social behaviour and violent disorder.
