Alexandra Park

Northumbria Police are aware of ongoing anti-social behaviour involving young people in the area of Alexandra Park.

Groups aged between 12-15 years old are setting fire to objects such as piles of wood, wheelie bins and sofas which they are bringing into the park from surrounding areas.

This is causing significant damage to the grass in the park and is a danger to the young people involved.

It is also placing extra demand on the police and fire services, preventing them from attending other emergencies.

There is CCTV in the area which is currently being reviewed by police to identify perpetrators and action will be taken against those identified.

Please ensure that you know where your children are each evening and that they are not involved in this antisocial behaviour.
