Gateshead Central Neighbourhood Policing team have now seized a Sur-Ron bike. This bike was seen driving at speed through the streets in Bensham. The rider of this bike  has then  abandoned the bike and made off on foot. Officers have  then stayed with this bike until it was recovered safely. 

Sur-Ron bikes are well known for causing ASB in the areas you live and Gateshead Central Neighbourhood Policing team take dealing with these bikes serious. Not only are these bike  able to reach  very high speeds they are also being used without the protective clothing/helmets and no insurance.

Resident are reminded that if they have any information of addresses or people  who are using Sur-Ron bikes, mopeds and Dirt bikes   in a Anti Social manner  they can make a report to Northumbria Police on 101  or alternatively  you can contact your local Neighbourhood Policing team.
